About Us

Civil Engineering, the mother branch, has kept pace with the rapid growth in the field of technology. It is that branch of engineering which provides basic amenities required for the survival and maintenance of the environment. The department of civil engineering established in 2009, with capacity of 60 for under-graduate courses. The Civil Engineering department provides all the facilities required to study and understand construction with an eye on environmental friendliness. The department has well qualified and experienced staff supported with well equipped laboratories, computing facilities and skilled laboratory staff. The faculty has participated in several academic activities by submitting research papers at national and international levels.

Library Use

Teachers will be issued five books at a time, the transaction of the books will be carried throughout the day.
Reader should not misplace any book while referring it.
In case of loss of any book, the reader has to replace the book with latest edition.
The book should be kept for the prescribed time limit, unless recalled by the librarian in the mean time.

PO1:Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex civil engineering problems.
PO2: Identify, formulate, and analyze complex civil engineering problems using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
PO3:Design solutions for complex civil engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, social, and environmental considerations.
PO4:Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions to conduct investigations of complex civil engineering problems.

HOD’s Message

On behalf of all our faculty, staff and students, I welcome Civil Engineering Department at SETI Panhala. The Department has been running the UG program since its inception i.e 2009. My vision is to develop constructive thinking and analytical capabilities in every student of the Civil Engineering Department. As a Head of the Department, I am incredibly proud of our role in providing high-quality education and hands-on experience to our students. Since its inception in 2009, the Civil Engineering Department has earned a tremendous reputation for its qualitative teaching-learning process, meaningful teacher-student interactions, state-of-the-art laboratories and well-qualified faculty, positively contributing to the community through teaching, research and consultancy activities. It houses well-equipped laboratories and up-to-date computational facilities.

The Department is always enthusiastic about conducting various courses and workshops for the faculty and students and training programs for working professionals to get exposed to technological advances.

All undergraduate, postgraduate and research scholars can participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities leading to complete personal growth.

Over the decades, the Civil Engineering Department has significantly contributed as a facilitator for the industry and society to remain in tune with time. The Department has produced alumina have contributed to the success of many top industries and companies. The student’s design projects and research take up real-world challenges along with the various industries and laboratories. Our students have the skills and experience needed to succeed in the field.
