About Us

From the Department of Basic Sciences and Humanities, greetings! At Sanjeevan Engineering and Technology Institute,Panhala the Basic Sciences & Humanities Department prepares all students for a successful Engineering career. In The Sanjeevan Way of learning is introduced to first-year students, who are then trained to assume their roles in society as both good Engineers and good people.
A group of committed employees prepares the students for advanced engineering courses by emphasizing both academic and holistic growth through initiatives including skill-building programs, one-day field trips, mentoring, sustainability projects, and cultural and athletic events.
The four pillars of engineering—engineering mathematics, engineering physics, engineering chemistry, and communications skills—are taught in lectures, practicals, and tutorials. Teachers frequently use Moodle, an online interactive learning management system, to conduct tests, share notes with students, and answer questions.

Engineering Physics Laboratory

Lab In charge: Prof. S. S. Kumbhar
Lab Assistant: Mr. S. D. Chopade.

The Laboratory of Physics imparts the physical basics of engineering science by means of meaningful experimental setups that provide valid quantitative measurement results. Physical connections are made accessible through clear examples from practice. The laws taught in the lecture can be applied directly. The laws of nature can be directly experienced. Engineering physics lab provides application oriented knowledge to the theory content. Different Practical highlight the various streams of Engineering like study of measurement of voltage &frequency using CRO, Determination of V-I characteristics of PN junction diode, study of LASER diffraction to determine wavelength of laser source, Newton’s Rings, study of resistivity of semiconductor.

Engineering Chemistry Laboratory

Lab In-charge: Prof. Sameena A. Sayyad
Lab Assistant:

Major Equipment: PH Meter, Spectrophotometers, flame photometers

The main objective of the Engineering Chemistry Laboratory is to provide students with a conceptual understanding of the fundamental ideas behind chemical analysis. The theoretical ideas and the majority of the experiments are interrelated. The fundamental ideas and abilities covered in this course will serve as a solid basis for the student’s future endeavors. Additionally, this course helps students develop a more scientific mindset so they can perform a variety of experiments.

English Language and Communication Skills Laboratory (Humanities)

Lab In charge: Prof. Pradip R. Patil
Lab Assistant: Mr. Sangram D. Chopade

Major Equipments – Computers, Head Phones,
Major Softwares – William Wordsworth English Language Laboratory

Welcome to the Language Lab, a dedicated space designed to enhance communication skills for engineering students. In today’s globalized world, technical expertise alone is not enough. Effective communication, both written and spoken, is crucial for professional success in the engineering field. Our Language Lab aims to bridge the gap between technical proficiency and communication excellence.
